Acupuncture’s use for certain conditions has been endorsed by the United States National Institutes of Health, the National Health Service of the United Kingdom, the World Health Organization (W.H.O), and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Acupuncture is now widely accepted all over the world and has now been included as an effective form of treatment in standard textbooks of Western medicine. It is now an optional subject offered in many medical schools in the U.S.
